Expected Service Life The expected service life of a Hoyer sling will vary dependent on use and following the care and washing instructions provided in the user guide. Factors such as wash temperature, detergents, frequency of use and patient weight will impact on the lifetime of your sling.
  • Page 3 Hoyer ® English Repositioning Sling How to Use the Repositioning Sling For repositioning in bed, lower and position the spreader bar over the patient. The spreader bar may be positioned either parallel (1) or perpendicular (2) to the patient, depending on comfort and application.

Starting from the head end of the sling, attach the first straps on each side of the sling to the spreader bar using the WHITE loops.
