INTRODUCTION
This compact Electronic Timer/Stopwatch is very easy to use. Read the following instructions carefully, then practice using it
a few times. You'll soon find a multitude of uses for it almost anywhere.

INSERT BATTERY BEFORE USING
1. Slide battery cover on backside of timer case in direction of arrow.
2. Insert one Triple A (AAA) battery into opening, matching plus (+) and minus (-) symbols.
3. Slide cover down over battery, making sure it locks in place.
Your timer is now ready to use.
HELPFUL HINTS ON USING TIMER/STOPWATCH
The timing capacity of timer is from 1 second to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds in both count down and count up
modes.
Excessive heat can damage the internal electronics of timer. Keep timer away from direct or indirect sources of heat.
Wipe timer case with damp cloth if necessary. Never immerse timer in water or other liquid.

TO SET COUNT DOWN TIMER
1. Press STOP/RESET button twice to set timer to zero.
2. Press number keys 0 through 9 to set desired timing period in hours, minutes and seconds. Example: To set 2 hours, 30
minutes, 30 seconds, press 0,2,3,0,3,0. The first and second keys pressed are the hours, the third and fourth keys pressed
are the minutes and the fifth and sixth keys pressed are the seconds. NOTE: If you are timing in seconds only, press just
two number keys 0 through 9. Example: To set 15 seconds, press 1,5. If error is made in programming time, press
STOP/RESET button down to zero display, then reprogram timer as explained above.
3. Press START button to start timer. Time will count down in 1-second intervals.
4. When time expires, the alarm will sound for 1 minute or until timer is turned off. The alarm automatically turns off after 1
minute to extend battery life. To turn off alarm, press any of the buttons on timer: START, STOP/RESET or 0 through 9.
To re-enter the same or a different time, press STOP/RESET button twice, then enter time and press START button.
TO SET COUNT UP/STOPWATCH TIMER
1. Press STOP/RESET button twice to set timer to zero.
2. Press START button once. Timer will immediately begin to count up in 1-second intervals. It will count up to 99 hours,
59 minutes, 59 seconds. To stop the count up timer, press STOP/RESET button. To set timer to zero, press STOP/RESET
button again.
3. If count up timer is not turned off before it reaches 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds, the timing operation stops with
99:5959 appearing in display. Press STOP/RESET button again to zero display.
