you can search a VIDE() CD/CD/DATA CD/
DATA DVD by track, index, er scene. As litles
and Iracks are assigned unique nmnbers on Ihe
disc, you can select Ihe desired one by enlerillg
ils number. Or. yeu can search R)r a scene using
lhe time code.

Press Q DISPLAY. (When playing a
DATA CD/DATA DVD with JPEG image
files, press O DISPLAY twice.)
The Control Menu appears.
Press -1"14, to select the search method.
The display will shew dil ferent ilems
depending on the disc.

Selecl [TIME/TEXT] to search for a
starling point by inputting Ihe time cude.

The mm_her in parentheses indicates the
lutal number ul tilles, chapters, lracks.
indexes, scenes, albums or files.

select the title, chapter, track, index,
scene, etc., number you want to search
for.
If you make a mistake
Cancel fl_e numher by pressing CLEAR.
then select another number.
Press ENTER.

To search for a scene using the
time code (DVD VIDEO and
DVD-VR mode only)

In Step 2, select [TIME/TEXT1.
[T *_' : *_':**] (pla_ ing time olfl_e current title)
is selected.
2 Press ENTER.
IT *_':_'_':**]changes to IT--:--:--].
3 Input the time code using the number
buttons, then press ENTER.
For example, to find the scene at 2 hours, l0
minutes, and 20 seconds after the beginning,
.just enter [2:111:20].
• When the Control Menu display is turned off, you can
search for a chapter (DVD VIDEO/DVD-R/DVD-
RW), track (VIDEO CD/CD), or file" (DATA CD/
DATA DVD (DivX video)) by pressing the number
buttons and ENTER.
,i, Except for North American models.
• You cannot search for a scene on a DVD+RW/
DVD+R using the time code.
