Before operating the unit
Remove the transit key on the bottom of the unit by following the
instructions on the label, and keep it in a safe place.
The transit key protects the optical system against shock during
transportation.

To re-install the transit key when transporting the unit
1 Remove all CDs.
2 Press 2 OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray and confirm that
"Y (or Y , & ...)" has disappeared from the display.
3 Turn off the power.
4 Insert the transit key into its hole to lock.
