- Page 6 Install the U-bolt boots onto the headers. Place the header on the header brackets, lining up the face of the header flange with the center of the leg. Screw on the U-bolt nuts until snuge (finger tight). Do not Install the bottom U-clamps. tighten completely until after all the boiler and external system connections have been completed.
