Adjusting H-626 Foil Labels for the H-627+ Printers
We found that many foil labels designed for the H-626 label printers often used slightly incorrect
measurements and/or adjustments in the printer settings to print foil labels. The next generation H-
627+ printers were designed to be more accurate, but they do require correct foil measurements. This
document will show you how to measure your foil labels and input the correct values in your software
and printer.
When switching to a H-627+ printer, you may need to adjust some settings in the format to be more
1. Restore Defaults in the printer
To get a consistent starting value, restore the default values in your printer:
a. Hold the right arrow key for 3 seconds to enter the settings menu
b. Navigate to "Printer Control" and press the feed key to select
c. Navigate to "Restore Defaults" and press the feed key to select
d. Ensure the arrow is pointing towards "Apply" and press the feed key to select
e. You will then see the THARO printer loading screen. The printer will beep once and return to the
"Ready" screen

2. Inspect your labels
Take a look at the label stock:
a. Is the black mark consistently dark?
b. Is each black mark a consistent distance apart?
c. Is the black mark straight across?
If all are true, continue to step #3
If any of these are not true, the printer may not be able to sense it properly or calibrate correctly.
You may need to return the label stock for higher quality labels.
