Pool cover/winter cover

Preparation for the use of the winter cover
Pool
Use a suitable winter protection product at the recommended dose. Drain the water down to
below the built-in parts (winter lowering).
Sharp-edged, pointed, or other objects that could damage the cover must be removed. This
applies to both the indoor and outdoor pool areas.
Cover
When selecting the size of the cover, the distance between the water surface and pool edge and the
overlap over the pool edge must also be taken into account. Here, it may be advisable to order the next
size of the cover.
Overwintering
Pull the cover over the pool and make sure that it is centred over it. Furthermore, make sure that the
cover lies along the inside on the pool edge and fully on the water surface.
In the case of built-in pools with kerbs, the overhang can be placed over the pool kerbs and the
cover secured using the tensioning rope and turnbuckle.
For built-in pools without curbs, the cover must be weighted down outside the pool.
In the case of upright pools, the overlapping cover is placed around the edge of the pool.
Make sure that the cover is properly secured or weighted down to prevent the cover from being pulled
into the pool in case of high snow loads or strong winds.

To use the cover, thread the tensioning rope alternately through all the eye-
lets around the cover.
Then pass the tension cable through one opening of the turnbuckle and the
turnbuckle drum each and knot them. If necessary, the length of the tension-
ing rope can be adjusted. Now wind the tensioning rope onto the turnbuckle
drum by turning the crank until the rope is sufficiently taut.
The locking latch secures the respective clamping position. If one presses
the latch, the tensioning position is released and the cord can be unwound.
