The SDC Pro 2 Manual describes the operation and functionality of Stryker’s SDC Pro 2 product, which is a digital documentation system for use in operating rooms. I am familiar with the facts of this matter, and this declaration is based on my personal knowledge and information.

I located this document in Stryker’s records as follows: First, I accessed Stryker Endoscopy’s legacy document storage system (called Sarnoff), which is used to store company files and records that pre-date Stryker’s current electronic document management system.

The menu allows you to adjust the pan/tilt/zoom functions as well as to focus the camera to frame the action. Each camera can be remotely panned left or right, tilted up and down, or zoomed in and out.

ONNECTING EMOTE ICTS OOMS OSPITAL The SwitchPoint III allows room-to-room connectivity for video conferencing and tele- medicine applications. All room connections within the ICTS system are transmitted using broadcast quality video and audio. Off-site con- nections require the use of a Codec.

The video resolution transmitted by the Codec varies depending on the data rate used. The higher the data rate, the less compression used to transmit the video.

ODEC PERATION ASIC ODEC PERATION The Codec is a device that translates video and audio in real-time to a digital signal capable of being transmitted to a distant loca- tion. It uses compression to fit video into an allowable bandwidth for transmission over ei- ther an ISDN line or an IP network.
(continued) ODEC PERATION PEED ELECTION Once the number is entered, you need to set the speed of the call. The speed of the call affects the quality of the video image due to the compression used. 384 Kbps is the mini- mum for distance learning and general confer- encing.
(continued) ODEC PERATION LACING A PEED WITH THE ODEC Select the Address Book from the Main Menu. This initially brings up the Speed Dial menu. Speed Dial stores the last 6 calls that were made, either incoming or outgoing. This is a useful feature for doing a test call prior to a live conference, then rapidly re- connecting for the actual conference.
(continued) ODEC PERATION DITING THE DDRESS To edit an address book entry, first select it in the Address Book. Use the Left button to cursor over to the New/Edit/Delete menus and select Edit. This menu that allows you to change the name, number, and speed of the entry.

Multi- Site Meeting. You can have up to four parties participating in a call using the SwitchPoint III. Be aware that the greater the number of par- ties connected the more bandwidth is used and the slower the connection will be.
By default, all slides and snapshots are displayed for a period of four minutes. When the display times out after four minutes, the SwitchPoint III automatically returns to live video. However, when this option is disabled, the snapshot or slide stays on screen indefi- nitely until the user presses the Snapshot but- ton on the remote control to return to live video.

OF THE WITCH OINT RESETS • This feature of the SwitchPoint III is de- signed to simplify and improve the repeat- ability of OR functions. Along with the usual “Laparoscopic Procedure” preset, set up one for “Teleconferencing”. An- other good idea is to make back up cop- ies of Presets by duplicating the most used ones.

Next, try and “half split” the system (see example below) and narrow down the possible faults until you have isolated the actual prob- lem. You can use the SwitchPoint III to assist you. Half Splitting refers to taking a complex signal path and breaking it into logical parts for troubleshooting.
