Operation

Functions
Button
Function/description
Micro Power button (4a)
Select the microwave power level.
Express button (4b)
Select a cooking time in 30 seconds steps at highest power
level.
Auto Defrost button (4c)
Select a defrosting program according to foodstuff and
weight.
Preset . Clock button (4f)
Set the current time and select automatic starting time.
Stop . Clear button (4e)
Pause or cancel the current cooking process, delete the
current program and enable/disable child lock function.
Instant . Start button (4d)
Start or resume the current cooking process and instantly
start a new cooking process at highest power level.
Clock
The display (3) will show the current time, if the appliance is not operating.
A fl ashing ":" without any numbers indicates, the clock is not set. Set the
time after connecting the appliance to the power supply:
1. Press the Preset . Clock button (4f) to enter programming mode. The
hour digits will fl ash.
2. Adjust the hours turning the Auto Cooking / Time Weight dial (5).
3. Press the Preset . Clock button (4f) to confi rm. The minute digits will
fl ash.
4. Now adjust the minutes turning the Auto Cooking / Time Weight
dial (5).
5. Press the Preset . Clock button (4f) or wait for 5 seconds to confi rm.
Note:
The ":" between the hours and minutes will fl ash to indicate the time is
set, while the clock symbol stays continuously on.
Selecting a power level
Press the Micro Power button (4a) to cycle between power levels. The
display (3) will show the percentage of power used as explained below.

1. When the desired power level is set, turn the Auto Cooking /
Time Weight dial (5) to set the cooking time.
2. Press the Instant . Start button (4d) to start cooking.
Note:
The maximum cooking time to be set is 60 minutes.
The display (3) will show the remaining cooking time counting down and
the power level bar during operation in this mode.
When the cooking time has elapsed, the display will show "End" and
the appliance will emit audible signals. The signals will continue in a
2 minutes interval until the door is opened or the Stop . Clear button
(4e) is pressed.
Instant start
While in standby status, press the Instant . Start button (4d) once and the
appliance will operate at highest power level for 1 minute by default.
Every additional pressing of the Instant . Start button (4d) will add
10 seconds cooking time.
Increase or decrease cooking time by turning the Auto Cooking /
Time Weight dial (5).

Note:
The display (3) will show the remaining cooking time counting down and
the power level bar during operation in this mode.
Express start
While in standby status, press the Express button (4b) repeatedly to select
a cooking time at 30 seconds steps. When the desired time is reached,
press the Instant . Start button (4d) once to start the cooking process at
the highest power level.
Every additional pressing of the Instant . Start button (4d) will add
10 seconds cooking time.
Increase or decrease cooking time by turning the Auto Cooking /
Time Weight dial (5).
Note:
The display (3) will show the remaining cooking time counting down and
the power level bar during operation in this mode.
Automatic start
This appliance can be programmed to delay the cooking process to a
predefi ned time instead of starting it immediately. Variables to be defi ned
are starting time, power level and cooking time following the steps from
below:
1. Press the Micro Power button (4a) to select the power level.
2. Turn the Auto Cooking / Time Weight dial (5) to set the cooking time.
3. Press and hold the Preset . Clock button (4f) for 3 seconds to enter
programming mode. The hour digits will fl ash.
4. Adjust the hours turning the Auto Cooking / Time Weight dial (5).
5. Press the Preset . Clock button (4f) to confi rm. The minute digits will
fl ash.
6. Now adjust the minutes turning the Auto Cooking / Time Weight
dial (5).
7.
Press the Preset . Clock button (4f) to confi rm.
Note:
In order to use this function, you must set the clock fi rst as described in
the corresponding section.
The display will show the power level bar and the clock symbol will fl ash
to indicate a programmed automatic start.
WARNING! Do not run this program when the appliance is unattended.
Defrost
Press the Auto Defrost button (4c) to cycle between the defrost programs
shown on the display (3) from below.

Note: numerical display as 0.1 to 3.0 represented in unit KG.
1. After selecting the desired program, turn the Auto Cooking /
Time Weight dial (5) to select the weight of the food you want to defrost.
2. Press the Instant . Start button (4d) to start defrosting.
Note:
Half way during defrosting the appliance will emit audible signals to
remind you to turn over your food if desired.The defrost process has to
be paused manually for this purpose using the Stop . Clear button (4e).
Press the Instant . Start button (4d) afterwards to resume.
The display (3) will show the remaining cooking time counting down and
"DEFROST" during operation in this mode.
Predefi ned cooking modes
This appliance is programmed to follow a certain cooking procedure,
depending on a user defi ned dish.
While in standby status, turn the Auto Cooking / Time Weight dial (5) to
cycle between the cooking programs shown on the display (3) from below.
