Using the LOCKS menu
The LOCKS menu includes the V-chip, CH (channel) Lock, Video
Lock, and New PIN Code functions. You can use these functions only
after entering the correct PIN code.
Entering the PIN code
1. Press MENU, and then press • or • until the LOCKS menu
appears.

• Blocking reset status (to store
a new PIN code):
Press the Channel Number
buttons (0-9) to store a new
4-digit PIN code, and then
press ENTER.
• When the PIN code is already
stored:
Press the Channel Number
buttons (0-9) to enter the PIN
code you previously stored,
and then press ENTER.
2. Press • or • to display the PIN code entering screen.

If the wrong PIN code is entered, the message "Incorrect"
appears. Enter the code again, and then press ENTER.
If you cannot remember your PIN code
While the PIN code entering screen is displayed, press RECALL
four times within 5 seconds. The PIN code will be released
(blocking reset status).

Changing the PIN code
1. From the LOCKS menu, select NEW PIN CODE.
2. Press the Channel Number buttons (0-9) to enter a 4-digit code.
The numbers you enter will replace the dashes in the display.

3. Press ENTER. The new PIN code is now active.
Note:
The V-Chip function is available only for the
U.S. V-Chip system. The Canadian V-Chip
system is not supported.
