7. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Jack will not lift the load
Jack does not lift high enough or
feels spongy
Jack lifts poorly
Jack lifts but will not hold the
load
Jack does not lower completely
Jack does not lower at all
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.

Remedy
Use jack with correct capacity
Top up oil level
Check and close release valve
Open release valve and air vent (if fitted)
and pump the handle 15 to 20 times. Close
valve and re-try
Clean and replace oil
Replace packing
Fill or remove excess oil
Return jack to local service agent
Open release valve and air vent (if fitted)
and pump the handle 15 to 20 times. Close
valve and re-try
Check and close release valve
Replace packing and/or clean valves
