k. Deterioration of the equipment's external surfaces due to normal
wear and tear.
l. Cosmetic damage, damage caused by incidents, or force due to
major or unforeseeable events.
m. In cases where the serial number assigned by the factory has been
altered or removed from the product.
n. When the battery seals are broken, wet, or damp.
o. When the battery has been charged using a charger that was not
manufactured by LG Electronics Inc. or its subsidiaries.
p. When the battery has been used in equipment other than that for
which it was intended.
q. When the equipment label is illegible, missing, or has been altered.
Replacement products: Those products delivered as a replacement
for a faulty product shall come with a one-year (1-year) warranty,
valid from the date the first product was purchased, except in those
countries and states where the law forbids it.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, AS SET OUT IN THIS
CERTIFICATE, IS THE ONLY COMPENSATION THAT THE CONSUMER
SHALL RECEIVE. LGEPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE DUE TO NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THIS
WARRANTY.
EXCEPT IN CASES WHERE IT IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED BY THE LAW IN
THE COUNTRY WHERE THE PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED, ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
TERM OF THIS WARRANTY.
This Warranty shall be valid in the country the product was purchased.
You may have other rights depending on the country in which the
product was purchased. This Warranty is not valid internationally.
You may not make a claim in a country other than the country the
product was purchased. Some countries and states do not permit
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage
or permit some limitation with regard to the duration of the implied
warranty.
As such, the limitations and exclusions set out above may not apply.
To validate the Warranty, you must present the purchase invoice or
receipt of payment and this warranty certificate.
