Read the instructions carefully and observe all safety instructions. Only carry out this installation if you are qualified to do so, otherwise we strongly recommend installation at a
specialist workshop. Incorrect mounting can negatively affect the handling characteristics of the bike and endanger your health and life. In the following, the symbols listed below are
used, please note these instructions:


Tip for mounting, maintenance or to prevent damage.
 All screws must be lightly
grease before insertion
We expressly recommend the stem
exclusively in combination with a steerer
tube [GS] made of metal (no carbon)
and without external thread to install.
The screws [S2] of the handlebar caps
[LD] are to be tightened slightly hand-
tight.

Mounting instructions

The stem must be aligned using spacer
rings [DR] (accessories, not included)
so that it protrudes approx. 1.5 - 2 mm
above the steerer tube. After alignment,
adjust the bearing clearance by
tightening the Ahead cover [D] with the
screw [S3] to approx. 1.5 - 2 Nm. Make
sure that the clamping screws [S1] are
loosened.
After alignment, tighten the clamping
screws [S1] with a torque of 6 Nm.
