Cannot insert a "Memory Stick Duo".
• Insert it in the correct direction (4 _s,'ep3 irl 'Read ThLs Fir,st').
Cannot record on a "Memory Stick Duo".
• You arc using the "Memory Stick Duo" wilh the write-protect sx_itch_ and the switch is set to
the LOCK position. Set the switch to the recording position (page 117).
• The "Memory Stick Duo" is fidh Delete unnecessary images (_ stu_ 7 in 'Read This Fir.s_').
• Insert a "Memory Stick PRO Duo" (page 24) when recording movies with the image site set
to 1640(Fine)l.
Cannot format a "Memory Stick Duo".
• You arc using the "Memory Stick Duo" wilh the write-protect sx_itch_ and the switch is set to
the LOCK position. Set the switch to the recording position (page 117).
You have formatted a "Memory Stick Duo" by mistake.
• All the data on the "Memory Stick Duo" is deh:tcd by formatting. You cannot restore it. W'c
recommend that you set the write-protect switch on the "Memory Stick Duo" to the LOCK
position to prc_,ent accidental erasure (page 117).
"Memory Stick PRO Duo" is not recognized by a computer with a "Memory
Stick" slot.
• Check whether the computer and the card reader support "Memory Stick PRO Duo". Users of
computers and card readers made by companies other than Sony should contact those
mantlfacttlrers.
• If "Memory Stick PRO Duo" is not supported, connect the camera to the computer (pages 77
to 79). The computer recogniTcs the "Memo W Stick PRO Duo".
