(5) Macro·Photography
1. Press down and slide the mac·
ro selector in the direction of
the arrow.
Macro Indicator
A red macro indicator appears on the
right side of the viewfinder.
You can take
close·up pictures of
flowers,
insects,
etc., 12in./30cm
from
the
camera.
2. Shoot at the position 12
/ 1
130cm
from the subject.
The distance
is
measured from
the Macro selector
to
the subject.

After macrophotography, do not for-
get to return the macro selector to the
normal position.

In macro
flash photography some
subie~ts
may
appear overexposed due
to
their characteristics
.
If
a
test
shot is too
ligh
t, set the flash
selector
to OFF and
use
a
different light
source.
These subjects include:
1. Shiny
objects
,
e.g.
,
metal
or
glass
2. Printed material
or photographs
for
copying
3.
White
or very
light·colored
subjects
