GENERAL SET-UP POWER TURN ON THE INSPIRE LITE Press and hold the Sleep/Wake Button until the logo appears. Sign in as necessary. If the device does not turn on, you might need to charge the battery. TURN OFF THE INPIRE LITE Press and hold the Sleep/Wake Button until the slider appears, then drag the slider down. -

CONNECT TO THE INTERNET The INSPIRE LITE speech device connects to the Internet whenever necessary by using Wi-Fi. When an application needs to use the Internet, the device tries the following, in order: Connects to the most recently used available Wi-Fi network. -

CONTROL THE VOLUME The INSPIRE LITE speech device volume is controlled on the top of the device. The volume can also be controlled within task bar at the bottom by tapping , and the volume can be controlled within the settings. -

CHARGE THE BATTERY The INSPIRE LITE has an internal, lithium-polymer rechargeable battery. Charge the battery. The best way to charge the device battery is to connect to a power outlet using the power supply that came with your INSPIRE LITE. OM006... -

USING THE AAC SOFTWARE The INSPIRE LITE is available with Grid3. For specific uses of the software application ordered by your treating practitioner, please visit our website, www.rmspeech.com. You can sign up and have access to our Resources page as a user. -
Page 10: Important Safety Information
Don’t open the INSPIRE LITE and don’t attempt to repair the device yourself. Disassembling the INSPIRE LITE device may damage it or may cause injury to you. If the INSPITE LITE is damaged, malfunctions, or encounters liquid, contact RM Speech. Repairs by service providers other than RM Speech may affect the safety and functionality of the device. -

Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the INSPIRE LITE device or other property. When you use the provided power source to charge the device, make sure the power source is fully inserted into the device before you plug the adapter into a power outlet. -

The INSPIRE LITE device contains components and radios that emit electromagnetic fields. OPERATING TEMPERATURE The INSPIRE LITE is designed to work in ambient temperatures between 32° and 95° F (0° and 35° C) and stored in temperatures between -4° and 113° F (-20° and 45° C). The INSPIRE LITE can be damaged and battery life shortened if stored or operated outside of these temperature ranges. -
