Check
procedure:

Insert
a
KCA-60
tape
and
put
the
unit
into
the
REC
mode.
Connect
the oscilloscope
as follows:
CH1:
TP102/SV-88
CH2: TP106/SV-88
EXT.TRIG:
TP203/SV-88
Check
that
the
waveforms
are
meet
the
required specification
(1).

Set
the
TBC
switch
of
the
connector
panel
to OFF.
If
the
TBC
Board
is
inserted
in
the
unit,
open
the
Function
Control
Panel
and set the INT TBC
switch
to BYPASS.
Insert
the
alignment
tape
and
put
the
unit
into
the
STILL
mode.
Connect
the oscilloscope
as follows:
CH1:
TP505/SV-88
CH2:
TP512/SV-88
Adjust
RV507
until
the
voltage
level
difference
between
TP505
and
TP512
is 0
+10 mv.
Set
the
Bit
2
of
S201
on
the
SV-88
Board
to
ON.
Check
that
the
Bit
1 of
S201
and
S202
is set
to OFF.
Put
the
unit
into
the
PLAY
and
STILL
modes
alternately,
adjust
RV506
until
the
voltage
level
difference
of
TP505
between the PLAY
mode and STILL mode is
0 +50 mv.
Check
the
Drum
Lock
Phase
as
described
in
the
check
procedure.
If
does
not
meet
spec.(1),
perform
the
adjustment
procedure
(4) to (6).
Connect
the
oscilloscope
to
TP104
on
the SV-88
Board.
Playback
the
color-bar_
signal
portion
of the alignment
tape.
Magnify
the
playback
H
period
and
adjust
the
edge
of
first
H
signal
to
senter
of
the
oscilloscope.
