the saw to walk backwards, cutting whatever is in
its path. Be aware of the time it takes for the
blade to stop after switch is released.
20.
To check lower guard, open lower guard by hand,
then release and watch guard closure. Also check
to see that retracting handle does not touch tool
housing. Leaving blade exposed is VERY
DANGEROUS and can lead to serious personal
injury. Additional safety warnings
21.
Use extra caution when cutting damp wood,
pressure treated lumber, or wood containing
knots. Maintain smooth advancement of tool
without decrease in blade speed to avoid
overheating the blade tips. 24.Do not attempt to
remove cut material when blade is moving. Wait
until blade stops before grasping cut material.
Blades coast after turn off.
22.
Avoid Cutting Nails. Inspect for and remove all
nails from lumber before cutting.
23.
Place the wider portion of the saw base on that
part of the workpiece which is solidly supported,
not on the section that will fall off when the cut is
made. As examples, the RIGHT way to cut off the
end of a board, and the WRONG way. If the
workpiece is short or small, clamp it down. DO
NOT TRY TO HOLD SHORT PIECES BY HAND!
24.
Before setting the tool down after completing a
cut, be sure that the lower guard has closed and
the blade has come to a complete stop.
25.
Never attempt to saw with the circular saw held
upside down in a vise. This is extremely
dangerous and can lead to serious accidents.
26.
Some material contains chemicals which may be
toxic. Take caution to prevent dust inhalation and
skin contact. Follow material supplier safety data.
27.
Do not stop the blades by lateral pressure on the
saw blade.
28.
Always use blades recommended in this manual.
Do not use any abrasive wheels.
29.
Keep blade sharp and clean. Gum and wood pitch
hardened on blades slows saw and increases
potential for kickback. Keep blade clean by first
removing it from tool, then cleaning it with gum
and pitch remover, hot water or kerosene. Never
use gasoline.
30.
Wear a dust mask and hearing protection when
use the tool.
ATTENTION! The use of any accessories and
attachments, as well as perform any operations other
than those recommended in this guide may result in
injury or damage to the tool.
EXPLOITATION
After transporting the drill in winter conditions, if it is
used indoors, it must be kept at room temperature for at
least 2 hours until the condensed moisture completely
dries on the surface and inside the tool.
The batteries come from the manufacturer in an
uncharged state. Before work, it is necessary to charge
the battery.
Use only the charger supplied with this model of
cordless tool. Using the chargers of other tools can lead
to battery explosion, fire, personal injury and property
damage.
The battery may heat up during charging; this is normal
operation; it does not indicate a problem.
After the start of operation, the batteries gain their full
capacity NOT immediately, but after four to five
discharge / charge cycles. To fully utilize the battery
capacity, it is important that the battery is fully
discharged before the first and second charge
BATTERY CHARGE
Battery Charging Procedure:
1.
Disconnect the battery from the device.
2.
Connect the charger to AC power.
3.
Install the battery in the charger shaft.
4.
After approximately 60-100 minutes, the battery is
fully charged.
5.
When charging is complete, remove the battery
from the charger and unplug the charger cable
from the mains.
6.
Always charge the battery at a temperature
between 5 ° C and 40 ° C.
7.
A temperature below 5 ° C can lead to
overcharging, which is dangerous for subsequent
use.
8.
The battery cannot be charged at temperatures
higher than 40 ° C. The most favorable
temperature for charging the battery is from 20 °
C to 25 ° C.
9.
When the charging of one battery is fully
completed, you must leave the charger in the off
state for about 15 minutes before starting to
charge the next battery. Do not charge more than
two batteries in a row.
10.
IMPORTANT! Do not turn on the saw if the battery
is low. This may damage the battery.
11.
Never fully discharge the battery.
12.
After a long shelf life without operation, the
lithium-ion battery loses its charge (the so-called
"self-discharge"). After prolonged storage, it is
recommended that the battery be fully charged
before use.
SERVICE
After finishing work, clean the sawl and accessories
from dirt. In case of severe contamination, wipe the saw
with a damp cloth, which prevents moisture from
entering the tool. After that, wipe the tool dry. It is
forbidden to use liquids, solutions, chemicals that
negatively affect the material of the case, components
and parts of the drill (for example, acetone, solvents,
alkalis, acids, etc.) for these purposes. Ensure that the
ventilation holes are weedy. Clean your device regularly.
