the film counter to 36 or 20, depending on the num-
ber of exposures in your magazine.
The film cO]Jnter always indicates the number of
exposures still available. After making exposure 1,
a transport lock comes into operation; neither the
rapid wind lever nor the exposure release will
then operate. This prevents the film end from be-
ing pulled from the magazine.
NOTE: When the rapid wind
lever is swung out, the re -
wind knob should turn
counterclockwise (after slack
has been taken up in the
magazine). This will pro-
vide a check an whether or
not film is advancing prop-
erly_
