Making a reduction copy
When you copy documents that are longer than the recording paper, the unit can reduce the original document
and print it out on one page by programming a suitable reduction rate The reduction rate 1s determined by a
combination of the size of recording paper and original document

Legal = 216x356 mm (87 x14")
A4 | = 210x297 mm (may not be available in the United States )
To program a reduction rate, proceed as follows

2 Press (&], then [315]

olf the appropriate reduction rate is not programmed the document may be divided and the top of the second
sheet will be deleted
olf you select OFF and copy a document as long as the recording paper, the image at the bottom of the
document may not be copied
