1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using
this equipment.
WARNING! Always wear approved eye / face protection when operating the torch.
WARNING! Butane gas is extremely flammable, handle with care. Follow instructions on butane re-filler can when refilling.
WARNING! Always point the torch away from the eyes and body when igniting and during operation.
WARNING! Ensure the flame is completely extinguished after use.
WARNING! Only use in a well ventilated area.
DO NOT use the torch in an area where paint fumes, solvents or other flammable solids, liquids or gases pose a potential hazard.

Keep flammable material away from the torch when operating.

DO NOT operate the torch when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

DO NOT hold any work piece by hand.

DO NOT touch the work piece close to the heated area as it will be very hot. Allow to cool.

DO NOT operate the torch if it is damaged as this may cause failure and/or possible personal injury.

DO NOT touch the top of the torch during or immediately after use, as it will be very hot. Allow to cool.

DO NOT leave the torch operating unattended.

DO NOT use this torch continuously for longer than 5 minutes.

DO NOT allow children to operate the torch.

After use, allow the torch to cool before storing it.

When not in use, store away from direct sunlight in a safe, dry,

childproof location.
2. INTRODUCTION
Stylish design with piezoelectric ignition. Produces a flame of approximately
1300°C. Powered by Butane (lighter fuel, see Sealey model no. SCS035S) and
when full can produce a flame for up to 30 minutes (not to be used continuously
for more than five minutes). Suitable for use in extreme weather conditions.
Ideal for soft soldering, camping, household repairs and a variety of general
purpose uses. Supplied with key chain.
3. OPERATION
3.1.
FILLING
3.1.1.
Allow to cool before refilling.
3.1.2.
Turn the torch so that the fill valve (fig.1) is facing upwards. Press nozzle of Butane fuel re-filler can into filling valve and fill torch.
Allow fuel to warm for 5 minutes before use.
3.2.
USE
3.2.1.
Press the lower part of the ignition trigger release (fig.1) at it's bottom (marked PUSH) to release the flame nozzle cover and at the
same time depress the ignition trigger. The piezoelectric ignition system will operate and the flame will ignite.
3.2.2.
To adjust flame, flip up the semi-circular adjuster in the base and rotate it C/W to shorten flame and ACW to increase it.
NOTE:
If the adjuster is left set too high or too low, the torch may not re-light next time, so re-set after use.
3.2.3.
To turn off, release the Ignition Button. Close the Flame Nozzle Cover to protect the nozzle.
NOTE:
The cover is NOT designed to turn off the flame, DO NOT close it when the flame is still lit.
DO NOT use continuously for more than 5 minutes. Allow to cool for a minute before re-lighting.
