    BEFORE OPERATION Prior to starting engine, inspect the following every time: Refer to manual for detailed instructions. Check Oil – A low oil level will cause the Oil Alert system to shut down the engine. Check Air Filter – A dirty air filter will restrict air flow to the engine, reducing engine and generator performance.
