  • Page 4 Measurement Operation • Turning the Detector on: Momentarily press the detector On/Off button (5). The sounder will beep once and the green LED will illuminate to indicate that the detector is on and ready for use. • Turning the Detector off: Momentarily press the On/Off button.
  • Page 5 Measurement Operation • Low Voltage Mode (12 to 1000V AC): Press and hold the 12V button (4). The green LED will change to yellow to indicate the detector is in the low voltage mode. While pressing the 12V button, place the tip of the detector near an AC voltage.
  • Page 6 Measurement Operation • Auto Power Off: To conserve battery life, the detector will automatically turn off after approx 5 minutes of inactivity. When powering down, the alarm will beep twice and the green LED will turn off. • Flashlight: Momentarily press the Flashlight button (3) to turn the flashlight on or off.

The IP67 dust and water ingress protection level is determined by the correct fitting of this cap. NOTE: When batteries are loaded for the first time, please remove the white, rectangular security strip before installing the batteries.
