Moisture condensation
If your camcorder _sbrought d_rectly from a cold place to a warm place, moisture may
condense msLde your camcorder, on the surface of the tape, or on the lens In this
condition, the tape may shck to the head drum and be damaged or),our camcorder may
notoperatecorrectly If there Is moisture ms_deyour camcorder, the beep sounds and
the []mdlcatorflashes.Whenthe _--mdlcatorflashesatthesametm_e, thecassettels
inserted m your camcorder. If moisture condenses on the lens, the mdLcator wall not
appear
If moisture condensation occurred
None of the functzons except cassette election will work Eject thecassette, turn off your
camcorder,and leaveLt for about 1 hour w_th thecassette compartment open.Your
camcorder can be used agaHlff the [] mdLcator does not appear when thepower AS
turned onagau_

How to prevent moisture condensation
When you bnng your camcorder from a cold place into a warm place, put your
camcorde r in a plastic bag and hghtly seal it. Remove the bag when the air tempera ture
reside the plastic baghas reached thesurroundmgtemperature (afterabout 1hour)
