You have the following options in this view:
• Tapping the "Actual Speed" field will display the speed limit of the street you are
currently driving on.
• Tap the arrow key to repeat the last voice instruction.
• The top text bar will display the street of where you should perform the next
action.
• The bottom text bar will display the current street where you are driving. Tap this
bar to exit the dashboard view. It will take you back to the standard map view.
To enable or disable this feature, go to Settings / Display options (Page 61) and
switch Dashboard View on/off.
Tip: Some countries have laws against moving images or maps in the vehicle while
driving. The Dashboard View is a great way to comply with those laws and receive
the benefits of GPS navigation.

5.8.3 Coordinate display format

Positions are sometimes displayed with their addresses, and sometimes with their
coordinates. This setting lets you choose between displaying coordinates in degrees
(dd.dddddd); degrees and minutes (dd mm.mmm); or degrees, minutes and seconds
(dd mm ss.s).
Note: the coordinate display mode is independent from the coordinate input in the
Find & Go menu. You can use all three formats freely on the coordinate input screen.

5.9 Backlight settings

Here you can set how the display backlight behaves when using V7 Navigation.
These settings are independent of the settings of the other applications of V7
NAV740.
