GPS NAVIGATION NAV740 Function keys and I/O interfaces: Ref Component Description 1) SD/MMC Slot Accepts an optional SD (Secure Digital) or MMC (MultiMedia Card) card for removable storage. 2) Volume key Turns the volume up/down. 3) Battery Charge The loading display will shine red during the charging process. It will shine green when the battery Indicator is completely charged.
Initial Set up: 1.Switching on the navigation system Remove the protective plastic from the screen and ensure the main power switch on the buttom side of the unit is in the ON position. ttention: Always leave the main switch in the ON position. The switch should only be set in the OFF position to preserve battery charge if the unit is to be stored for an extended period of time.
The Map On the tab, you can specify your destination as an Address, a POI (Point of Interest), or by its GPS Coordinates. You may also select a destination from Favorites, or one of your recently visited destinations from the History list.
