STEP 3 – Install Lift Mechanism a. Using (2) 7/16 inch wrenches, loosen the mounting bar width-adjustment bolts to allow the bars to slide in and out. Do not completely remove the bolts. (figure 3) b. Adjust the mounting bars to the approximate width of your wheelchair’s mounting tubes. -

Do not allow a user to sit directly on the lift seat’s plastic seat pan. Contact your Direct Supply Account Manager if you need to purchase a pressure-redistributing seat cushion. -

Directions for Use Directions for Use Your Direct Supply EZ-Lift Wheelchair Lift Seat Device is designed to provide between 20-60 lbs of lift assistance while standing. The system should help enable a resident who is otherwise able to stand and ambulate safely, however the lift seat is not expected to fully lift the resident by itself. - Page 12 Directions for Use (cont.) c.
