a signal

input,

While
recording a 500 cycle tone on tape, adjust Channel A bias
potentiometer
(VR7, Figs.
37 and 38) for maximum
output.
Then
turn the bias
potentiometer
counterclockwise
until
output
meter
reading
decreases
by C.5 db from the maximum
level.
3.
Connect
the signal generator
to Channel B LINE input,
and perform
the same
steps
as above
adjusting Channels
B bias
