A. SAFETY
Prior to accessing to internal components and in general prior to intervening on the appliance at all,
make sure that the power cord has been disconnected from the mains and that the hot parts have
cooled down.
When necessary, and anyway when possible, it is advisable to make resistance measurements; avoid as
much as possible tension or current measurements on the appliance, because they could damage the
electronic chips of the appliance.
WARNING: the appliance has metal parts. It is therefore advisable to use much care in moving the
appliance and in working on it, so as to avoid scratches, abrasions or cuts.
B. SCOPE OF THIS MANUAL
This manual is meant for technicians who already master the necessary knowledge to repair coffee
machines for domestic use.
The intent of this manual is to give them a general information on the appliance, so as to facilitate its
repair and maintenance.
