Important safety instructions

Warning!
Appliance is hot when turned on – beware of skin burn! Allow the appliance to cool
down completely before storing it away.
• Read carefully the instructions before first use.
• Never connect this appliance to an external timer switch or remote control system
in order to
avoid a hazardous situation.
• Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Use the appliance only for the usage it is made for. Do not remake any of its
components.
• Make sure the power cord does not touch any hot parts of the grill.
• Clean well before first use.
• Before the grill plates are mounted check if the are totally dry.
• Check if the grill plates are fixed firmly on its surface and if the fixing clip is in
locking position.
• Keep out of reach of children. Do not leave unattended while turned on.
• Always unplug:
• Before storing or taking off the grill plates,
• Before cleaning,
• After use.
• Always use certified lengthening cords.
• For indoor use only.
• To disconnect the plug pull the plug not the cord.
• Turn on after the grill plates have been fixed.
• Cool to room temperature before storing.
