Place the battery case cover back on the handset and slide it upwards until it clicks into place. • Use only the Uniden battery (BT-0002) supplied with your phone. Replacement batteries are also available through the Uniden Parts Department.

Pair a Bluetooth-enabled Headset with the ELX500 Handset Important! The Bluetooth® headset must stay within 15 feet (5m) range of the handset. 1) Prepare your Bluetooth headset for pairing according to the headset's owner's manual. 2) With the phone in standby mode (not in use), press menu/select on the handset.

Setting Privacy Mode Privacy mode prevents interruption from other registered handsets or the base. This works only when the phone is in use: While on a call, press the OPTIONS soft key. Use the up/down key to Ca l l P ri v ac y select exit Privacy Mode, use the same procedure.
