The Blind Spot Monitor is a system that has two functions:
The system is designed to use radar sensors to detect vehicles traveling in the
Prius Prime's blind spot. If a vehicle is detected, the driver will be alerted via the
outside rear view side mirror indicators.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert function:
While in reverse, when a vehicle approaching from the right or left rear of the
vehicle is detected, the outside rear view mirror indicators will flash. Also, the RCTA
detection screen will be shown on the display and the RCTA buzzer will sound.

Note: Once the systems are disabled, the systems will not be enabled until
they are enabled by the screen of multi-information display again. (The
