Water Piping Water supply pressure should be around 50 to 60 psi and should not exceed 80 psi. If this occurs, a pressure reducing valve should be installed in the cold water inlet line. This should be placed on the supply to the entire house in order to maintain equal hot and cold water pressures.
Install a discharge line from the temperature and Temperature-Pressure Relief Valve pressure relief valve in the opening marked “T & P RELIEF VALVE”. Install as specifi ed under “Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve”. After piping has been properly connected to the Explosion Harzard water heater, open the nearest hot water faucet.
