    Installation This section covers both the initial installation of your Cordless Skype Dual Phone and expanding your system with additional handsets. Initial Installation Step One: Installing the Phone 1. Insert the USRobotics Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM or DVD drive.     Skype Features Emergency Calling Although you cannot use Skype to make emergency calls, the Cordless Skype Dual Phone recognises emergency phone numbers for some countries. If you dial the emergency number and accidentally press instead of , the phone overrides your choice of lines and uses the landline to complete the emergency call. The emergency numbers are associated with the country that is selected on your phone.

    Phonebook The phonebook stores numbers that you call from your landline. It does not store Skype numbers; those are stored in the Skype contacts list. Your phone has one or more private phonebooks and one shared phonebook. A private phonebook is stored in the handset. If you have more than one handset, each has its own private phonebook.
