Assemble Editing/Insert Editing
When connecting to equipment that has the LANC connector, you can take
advantage of the synchronized editing function. For the synchronized editing, ser
page 57.
Connections
You can use the jacks located on the front panel or rear panel to perform this
operation.
When using the rear panel jacks
This VCR (Recording VCR)
LINE IN 1
VIDEO (Yellow) LINE OUT
AUDIO L (White) VIDEO (Yellow)
AUDIO R (Red) AUDIO L (White)

When using the front panel jacks
Notes:
¢ When connecting the VCRs,
do not connect both LINE IN
and LINE OUT jacks on your
VCRs simultaneously. This VCR (Recording VCR)
¢ If your playback VCR is a
monaural unit, connect the
white plug to LINE IN 1
AUDIO L or LINE IN 2
AUDIO L on this VCR. This
lets you record the sound of
the playback VCR on both
channels of this VCR. Do not
connect the white plug to
LINE IN 1 AUDIO L or LINE
IN 2 AUDIO R.
» To avoid deterioration of
picture quality, remember to
switch on the EDIT function
of the other VCR if the EDIT
function is provided with that
VCR.
