Power requirements
Power requirements for electrical appliances differ from
area to area. Please ensure that your unit meets the re-
quirements in your area.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
220-230V, 50Hz for Europe except the U.K.
240V, 50Hz for the U.K. and Australia
110V/120V/220V/240V, 50/60Hz convertible for other
countries.
Voltage conversion (not on all
models)
Models for Europe, the U.K. and Australia are not voltage
convertible. Each unit is preset at the factory according to
its destination. Other models include a voltage selector
that allows you adjust the voltage to 110V, 120V, 220V or
240V as required.
If your unit's voltage can be converted:
Before connecting the power cord make sure that the
VOLTAGE SELECTOR (located on the rear panel of the
amplifier) is set to the correct voltage for your area. If
necessary, use a screwdriver to turn the VOLTAGE SE-
LECTOR until the correct voltage is indicated.

This equipment conforms to No.82/499/EEC,87/308/
EEC standard.

About the POWER switch
The unit is not equipped with a primary power switch. Even
when the amplifiers POWER button is off, the power supply
tothe unitis not completely turned off. If you wish to turn the
power off completely, disconnect the power cord from the
AC outlet.
