*1 IPX2 indicates that handset functions as a phone when
tilted at an angle 15 degrees or less and exposed to water
drops falling vertically.
*2 IP5X indicates the level of protection and means that a
handset functions as a phone and maintains its safety after
being agitated in a test device with 75 µm or smaller particles
for 8 hours.
Usage Cautions
・Handset drip resistance is designed to protect it when
wetted with rain, etc.
・Handset is not waterproof. Do not splash with or immerse in
water.
・Do not use in a hot, humid place such as a bath room or
sauna, and do not subject to hot airflow such as from a hair
dryer.
・Do not leave wet. May short-circuit USB Type-C Port or
Earphone/Mic Jack. In a cold region, handset may freeze and
result in malfunction.
・To prevent condensation, let handset adjust to room
temperature before bringing it from a cold location to a
warm location.
・Never charge handset while it is wet.
・Do not place directly on sand, etc.
- Sand may enter Earpiece/Speaker, Speaker, Mic/Recorder
Mic, Mic, USB Type-C Port, Earphone/Mic Jack and affect
sound.
- Sand may enter holes in USB Type-C Port or Earphone/Mic
Jack and affect drip resistance.
- Allowing moisture, sand, etc. to remain may cause sound to
crackle.
・Do not allow moisture to remain in Earpiece/Speaker,
Speaker, Mic/Recorder Mic, Mic, or Earphone/Mic Jack. May
affect call quality.
・Included accessories and optional accessories are not drip
resistant/dust resistant.
・Operation is not guaranteed for all conditions of actual
use. Handset will not covered by warranty if malfunction is
determined to be due to incorrect customer handling.
