    Always wear shoes, and never allow more than one rider at a time. CARE & MAINTENANCE • To avoid damage to the Plaid's internal circuitry, do not expose it to liquid, moisture, or humidity. • Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the Plaid.

    • Do not place the Gyrocopters Plaid E-Scooter near a fire or leave it out in direct sunlight. Heating the E-Scooter can break or ignite the battery inside the device.
  • Page 14 In that case, immediately distance yourself from the battery in case of fire or explosion. • If the Gyrocopters Plaid Electric Scooter is not used for a long time, the battery should be fully charged every 90 days. Otherwise the battery will discharge itself and be damaged.

  • Page 17 LCD DISPLAY 1. Battery Indicator: Six led light bars on the display show the battery level. It is recommended not to drain the battery by 100%and charge it before use. 2. Left and Right Turn Signal: The left and right turn signals indicate the corresponding lower turn light flash while you are steering left or right.
  • Page 18 CONTROL BUTTONS On/Off Switch: Press 2 seconds to turn the scooter On or Off. Lights Switch: Click the switch to turn on all lights and click twice to turn off all the lights. Horn Switch: Press and hold the horn switch for horn sound, and release the horn switch to stop the sound.
  • Page 19 • Plug the charger into a grounded wall outlet. • Connect the cable with the power supply (100V˜240V; 50 Hz/60 Hz). • Align and connect the charging cable into the charging port of the Plaid (DO NOT FORCE OR BEND THE CHARGING CABLE AS IT MAY CAUSE THE PRONGS TO BEND OR BREAK).

    PINCH POINTS Some parts of your Plaid can injure you if mishandled. Moving and folding parts can cut skin. Clamps and pivoting parts such as brake levers can pinch. When folding and unfolding your Plaid, please watch for pinch points where injury may be sustained. Do not leave your hand in these areas during the folding or unfolding process.

    LOCKING MECHANISM The locking mechanism is very crucial so ensure the locking is secured. INsert the handelrbars in to the tube and lock it with 4 screws. FOLDING & UNFOLDING Turn the fold connector knob counter- clockwise until the fold connector buckle no longer holds the connector.

    PRE- RIDE CHECKLIST Ensure that your Gyrocopters Plaid E-Scooter is in proper working order each time you ride. If a part of the Plaid does not function correctly, please contact our Customer Support Center. • Ensure the battery is fully charged before riding your Gyrocopters Plaid E-Scooter.
