PAGE MEMORY
MIDI BULK DUMP
The contents of each PAGE
MEMORY can be bulk dumped via the
MIDI OUT connector as a system ex-
clusive message and received by a sec-
ond PSR-84/PSR-85 or a MIDI data
recorder.
1. Press the [MIDI BULK DUMP]
button. All PAGE MEMORY indi-
cators wili flash and "bdp" will
flash on the MULTI DISPLAY.

2. Press the button of the PAGE
MEMORY you want to transmit.
The corresponding indicator will
flash while the data is being trans-
mitted. The bulk dump can be
aborted at any time by pressing the
[MIDI BULK DUMP] button a
second time. No other operations
can be performed during a bulk
transmission.
3. When the transmission has finished
the PAGE MEMOR Y indicators
and MULTI DISPLAY will return
to their previous states.
€ MIDI Bulk Dump Reception
The PSR-84/PSR-85 will auto-
matically receive MIDI bulk dump
data transmitted from a second
PSR-84/PSR-85 or from a MIDI
data recorder if the "00" (remote
control) mode is selected. During
bulk dump reception none of the
panel controls will function and
"bdP" will appear on the display. If
an error is detected during bulk
dump reception "Err" will appear on
the display and the bulk dump re-
ceive operation will be aborted. If
this happens, try sending the data
again. When all data has been suc-
cessfully received the panel controls
will be set accordingly. Since the
panel settings are changed by bulk
dump reception, be sure to save
panel settings you want to keep to
the Page Memory before receiving a
bulk dump.
