13.1 Damage to glass and

tableware

Only put glasses and china in the
dishwasher if it is marked as dish-
washer-safe by the manufacturer.
Avoid damage to glass and table-
ware.

The chemical
composition of
detergent causes
damage.
Recommenda-
tion
Only put table-
ware in the dish-
washer if it is
marked as dish-
washer-safe by
the manufacturer.
Use a detergent
marked by the
manufacturer as
gentle on table-
ware.
Cause
Highly caustic al-
kaline or highly
acidic cleaning
solutions, in par-
ticular commer-
cial or industrial
cleaners, are not
safe to use in the
dishwasher with
aluminium.
The water tem-
perature of the
programme is
too high.
13.2 Arrange tableware
Arrange tableware correctly to optim-
ise the dishwashing result and pre-
vent damage to both the appliance
and tableware.
Note
Load the baskets so that no project-
ing items of tableware interfere with
closing of the door. Projecting items
of tableware may push the appliance
door open during the programme, so

cleaning agents,
do not put alu-
minium parts in
the dishwasher
interior.
Select a pro-
gramme with

gramme has
ended, take
glassware and
cutlery out of the
appliance without
delay.
