13.1 Damage to glass and
tableware
Only put glasses and china in the
dishwasher if it is marked as dish-
washer-safe by the manufacturer.
Avoid damage to glass and table-
ware.

washer-safe by
the manufacturer.
Use a detergent
marked by the
manufacturer as
gentle on table-
ware.
Cause
Highly caustic al-
kaline or highly
acidic cleaning
solutions, in par-
ticular commer-
cial or industrial
cleaners, are not
safe to use in the
dishwasher with
aluminium.
The water tem-
perature of the
programme is
too high.
13.2 Arrange tableware
Arrange tableware correctly to optim-
ise the dishwashing result and pre-
vent damage to both the appliance
and tableware.
Note
Load the baskets so that no project-
ing items of tableware interfere with
closing of the door. Projecting items
of tableware may push the appliance
door open during the programme, so

If you are using

acidic cleaning
agents, in partic-
ular commercial
or industrial
cleaning agents,
do not put alu-
minium parts in
the dishwasher
interior.
Select a pro-
gramme with
lower temperat-
ures.
After the pro-
gramme has
ended, take
glassware and
cutlery out of the
appliance without
delay.
