200209091 93-2093 Rackmount Battery Pack Owner’s Manual.qxd Introduction Tripp Lite External Battery Packs have output voltages of either 36 volts (BP36V142U), 48 volts (BP48V212U, BP48V242U) or 72 volts (BP72V122U) and are designed for use with various Tripp Lite UPS systems equipped with external battery pack connectors. When used with the appropriate Tripp Lite UPS, they meet UL standard 1778. - Page 3 200209091 93-2093 Rackmount Battery Pack Owner’s Manual.qxd Installation Color Selection (BP48V242U Only) The BP48242U can be configured to match black or grey equipment. To match black equipment, switch the grey front panel on the unit for the black front panel included. Single Unit Installation Connect the shelves to the shelf extensions (A) using the included hardware (B).
