    2.1. BESCHRIJVING VAN HET APPARAAT De VPVW47EW/VPVW47EZ is een vrijstaande vaatwasser met een boven-, onderkorf en bestekmandje geschikt voor maximaal 14 couverts. Via het bedieningspaneel kan er gekozen worden tussen 6 verschillende wasprogramma’s. Wanneer u het apparaat gebruikt volgens de instructies in deze handleiding, verbruikt u doorgaans minder energie en water dan wanneer u de vaat zou afwassen met de hand.

    3.4. HET APPARAAT INSTALLEREN LET OP! RISICO OP SCHADE AAN HET APPARAAT. • Sluit de toevoerslang nooit aan op een warmwaterkraan. • Hergebruik nooit de oude toevoerslang. Gebruik altijd de nieuwe toevoerslang die wordt meegeleverd met het apparaat. • Draai of knik de toevoer- en afvoerslangen niet en rol de toevoer- en afvoerslangen niet op. 3.4.1.

    De afvoerslang aansluiten op een afvoerbuis LET OP! RISICO OP SCHADE AAN HET APPARAAT.     De vaatwaszout LED licht op wanneer het vaatwaszout moet worden bijgevuld. Haal eventuele aanwezige vaat uit de korven. Verwijder de dop van het zoutreservoir. Plaats de trechter in het zoutreservoir. Vul het zoutreservoir met 1 liter water. Het zoutreservoir hoeft alleen voor het eerste gebruik na installatie gevuld te worden met water.

    RISICO OP EEN VERMINDERDE WERKING VAN HET APPARAAT. • Spoel de vaat niet voor voorafgaand aan de wasbeurt. Voorspoelen leidt tot een hoger water- en energieverbruik en kan leiden tot een mindere werking van het apparaat. • Verwijder grote voedselresten van de vaat voordat u de vaat in het apparaat plaatst. Grote voedselresten kunnen de leidingen en sproeiarmen verstoppen of lekkage veroorzaken.

    4.7.2. DE DEUR OPENEN ALS HET APPARAAT IN WERKING IS VOORZICHTIG! VERBRANDINGSGEVAAR DOOR STOOM. Houd afstand tot de opening van de deur wanneer u de deur opent. Er kan hete stoom uit het apparaat komen. Druk op de start-/pauzeknop om de wasbeurt te pauzeren. Wacht 5 seconden.

    2.1. DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVICE The VPVW47EW/VPVW47EZ is a freestanding dishwasher with a top, bottom and cutlery rack suitable for up to 14 place settings. Via the control panel, you can choose between six different dishwashing programmes. When you use the appliance according to the instructions in this manual, you usually consume less energy and water than when washing the dishes by hand.

    The dishwasher salt LED lights up when the dishwasher salt needs to be refilled. Remove any dishes from the baskets. Remove the salt reservoir cap. Place the funnel in the salt reservoir. Fill the salt reservoir with 1 litre of water. The salt reservoir only needs to be filled with water for the first use after installation.

    5.2. CLEANING THE FILTERS Clean the filters once a week. Turn the filter anticlockwise to unlock the filter system. Press the sides of the mesh filter ring to loosen the mesh filter. Remove the filter from the flat filter. Remove any foreign objects from the filters. Clean the flat filter, mesh filter and the filter under running water.

    5.3. CLEANING THE SPRAY ARMS It is important to clean the spray arms regularly. If the holes in the spray arms are blocked, water can spray against the door, allowing the appliance to leak water.
