     MAINTENANCE : Do not touch rotating blade. Stop the engine and unplug the spark plug before doing any repairs or maintenance. For four stroke engines, check regularly the oil level and add some oil or replace it if necessary. Frequently check the weeder and ensure that all deposits are removed from the weeding blade.
  • Page 3  Spark plug.  Spark plug type (or equivalent) F7RTC.  To check spark plug, remove spark plug cap and remove spark plug using the supplied spark plug wrench.  Clean the spark plug electrode also making sure that there is no damage to the insulator or electrode.

     TROUBLESHOOTING.  Engine Troubleshooting - N.B. Where necessary all corrective actions should be carried out by suitably qualified person/s.  If the starter rope becomes disconnected from the rope guide on handle, disconnect the spark plug cap. Depress the blade control handle and pull the starter rope out from engine slowly and re- engage in guide.
  • Page 5  ATTENTION OF OPERATING ENGINE:  RUNNING – IN OF NEW ENGINE:  If your engine has not breaking in yet,improper usage will shorten the life of engine.the initial 20 hours is the break-in-period. 1. RUNNING IN FOR 5-MINS AFTER FIRST START. Running with low speed and low load before the engine gets hot.
