@ Choose the desired band with the BAND selector.

@ Slide the VOLUME control towards MAX to get sound.

9,775 kHz (with the BAND selector set to AM):

1. Input 9,500 kHz to the L: key.

Press the Counter Keys in the order 9, 5, 0, 0, and press the EX-

ECUTE key. Check the indication in the Frequency Display. Then,

while pressing the ENTER key, press the Li* * key. The mark BD

will appear in the Frequency Display to indicate that the frequen-

cy has been input to the (: key.

2. Input 9,775 kHz to the Lz key.

Press the Counter Keys in the order 9, 7, 7, 5, and press the EX-

ECUTE key. Check the indication in the Frequency Display. Then,

while pressing the ENTER key, press the Lz* * key. The mark

will appear in the Frequency Display to indicate that the frequen-

cy has been input to the Lz key.

3. Check your inputting.

Press the Li (or Lz) key. If the frequency input to the L: (or Lz) key

appears in the Frequency Display when the Li (or Lz) key is press-

ed, you know the inputting is correct.

The mark EP indicates that the frequencies are input to both Li

and Lz keys.

@ With the SCAN AUTO STOP switch set to OFF, scanning does

not stop automaticdlly. ..

@ Press the START/STOP key. The radio Bapiiis scanning.
