serial
number on the rear
panel.
The
five-digit
number
is
an identification
number unique
to each
instrument,
and
the
three-digit
number
is
a serial prefix number,
used
to
document
changes.

are
the same. The
group
of
instruments
to
which this
manual
applies directly
is
identified
on
the
title
page.
For older instruments (lower serial numbers),
make
manual changes
listed
in

For newer in-

on
the
title
page, a Manual
Change
sheet
is in-
cluded,
describing the required changes. The
manual
for
