Carrying the Unit
Use the supplied carrying case.
How to use the HOLD switch
Slide this switch to the right so that its
orange mark appears. This locks the
buttons except the REMAIN/ENTER
button to prevent unconcious operation.
While the unit is in the HOLD condition,
the remote commander is operative.

Using the Optional Remote Commander
Use the Sony RM-DM2 (wired) or RM-
DM5K (wireless) remote commander (not
supplied).
Be sure to turn oft the CD player before
connection.
Notes
• Remove the receiver from the unit when it
is not used.
• RM-DM5K is not operative with the battery
pack or with alkaline batteries. Use it only
with the power supplied through the DC IN
9 V jack.
