This document is an integral part of the installation and must be kept accessible to operating and maintenance personnel in the immediate vicinity. The basic requirement for safe working is compliance with all specified safety instructions and instructions.

    The module is used to convert the rail bus signal to a CAN bus system that is routed to a VAHLE multi-axis con- troller - DCSX. Connection between the BCC-P and the DCSX control must be established using VAHLE system cables DCS/BCC - x, xm.

    Fig. 6-1 BCC-P module Description BCC-P is a mobile rail bus module used in connection with a VAHLE multi-axis control. The module acts as a gateway between the rail bus and multi-axis control. By using the module, disturbances due to long cable lengths (rail bus to multi-axis control) are minimized.

    SYSTEM OVERVIEW SYSTEM OVERVIEW The BCC- P module is a mobile rail bus module designed for the use with Vahle multi-axis controls. The follow- ing diagram shows the wiring of such a system as well as the module interfaces.     CAN Alive telegram: BCC-P to control If the BCC-P is correctly installed, it sends a CAN Alive telegram every time it is switched on, which the Vahle control receives. Vahle control receives the information from the CAN telegram that the BCC-P expects to be configured.

    MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE The main aim of this section is to maintain the system’s target condition and operational capability. By avoiding malfunctions and unplanned downtimes, regular maintenance can increase the utilization rate. Efficient plan- ning of maintenance work and material is a prerequisite.
