TO RECEIVE FM/AM BROADCASTS
When you do not know the frequency of the AM station, proceed as follows:

TO TUNE IN AN AM STATION MANUALLY — MANUAL TUNING™ >
1 Press AM.
The "0" indication blinks.
2 Press TUNING until the desired station Is tuned
in.
"+": For higher frequency station
'"~"": For lower frequency station
The frequency changes by 10 kHz.
3 Adjust the volume.
You can easily tune in your favorite stations by presetting them.

Reception at a preset station
Select the preset station with the number buttons.
The tuned station is indicated on the display window.
To survey the programs being broadcast on the preset stations
Press the MEMORY SCAN button.
Each station Is tuned In successively for several seconds.
To stop scanning, press the appropriate number button.

1 Tune in the desired station.

Change the setting of the FM MODE button, if
necessary. This setting is also memorized.
2 Press MEMORY PRESET.
MEMORY indicator appears for a few seconds.
3 Press the number button, while the MEMORY
indicator Is displayed.
The number displayed on the display window Is
preset.
Retention of the memory
The receiver retains the contents of the memory even when the
power Is off until a new station is memorized In the same number
button. When a new station Is memorized, the previous station will
be erased.
