In some countries, the SX-434 is
delivered with a selector switch
— for adjusting the FM de-emphasis.
If your unit is equipped with such
porous a switch on the rear panel, and if
ised high sound range gives an impression of
weakness, move the de-emphasis switch to
either "SOs" or 75s". Be sure to set the
switch to ''25us" only when listening to an
FM broadcast (pre-emphasis: 25m sec.) with
a Dolby* system whose NR adaptor must
be connected between the SX-434 TAPE
REC terminals and TAPE PB terminals.
