WINDING THE MAINSPRING USING A WINDING MACHINE
Rotary Speed: 30 rpm
Operating Time: 60 minutes
DETERMINING 12 AM MIDNIGHT
1. Pull out the crown to the 2nd position.
2. Rotate the crown clockwise (upward) to advance the hour and minute hands until the date changes, which
indicates 12 AM midnight.
3. Keep rotating the crown clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the exact time.
4. Push the crown back in to the normal crown position.
(Now that you've established AM/PM you can change the date as needed. Do not change the date between
9:00 PM (21:00) and 4:00 AM as this may damage the functionality and operation of the calendar.)
Mechanical watch movements are intricate micro-machines built to exacting standards. To ensure that your
watch operates with perfect precision for many years to come, please familiarize yourself with the following:
Accuracy: The average accuracy tolerance for the NH35 movement is around -20/+40 seconds per day under
normal operating conditions. Accuracy depends very much on the natural motion of your arm.
Service Intervals: As with most precision machines, an automatic watch must be serviced regularly to maintain
peak performance. We recommend that you have your watch professionally serviced every 5 to 6 years. A
shorter service interval may be required depending on the climate and conditions the watch is exposed to.
